THE OPPORTUNITY FOR A REMOTE/HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE IS POSSIBLE

AFTER SIX MONTHS.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for day-to-day operations in the Registrar area of Enrollment Services and the direct supervision of Enrollment Service Representatives and student employees. Carry out a full range of enrollment services activities. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, student record and registration processes and functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Counsel students/parents and faculty/staff on enrollment services matters; advise them of procedures to be followed for students to register for courses, obtain financial assistance, determine eligibility, and pay bills.

Supervise and manage the activities of Enrollment Services Representatives (ESR) and student workers, both undergraduate and graduate.

Assist the Assistant Director – Scheduling officer, with all aspects of the course scheduling process.

Coordinate the process of printing and mailing of diplomas in collaboration with other Registrar area staff.

Assist the Assistant Director – Compliance with data entry for the review and processing of NCAA academic eligibility.

In collaboration with the Lead Information Technologist and Enrollment Services Officer (Registrar) assist and provide backup for coordinating National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) enrollment submissions and degree verification files on our monthly schedule.

Assist in basic eCampus maintenance, testing and setup at the direction of the Lead Information Technologist and/or Senior Associate Director – Registrar.

Share in the coordination of NSC Verification research with assigned ESO/ESRs and complete that process in their absence.

Cross train to provide coverage and share responsibility for the coordination of the Leave of Absence and Withdrawal processes with assigned ESRs and other ES Registrar staff as needed.

Work closely with the Call Center in resolving escalated issues. Serve as Phone Manager as needed for vacation and sick coverage.

Provide excellent customer service in the form of walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and Call Center management.

Assist with maintaining customer service within Enrollment Services. Assist the Management Team with ideas for improvements/enhancements of current/future Enrollment Services priorities and initiatives.

Participate in University programs such as Admission Open Houses, Welcome Days, Summer

Orientation, and other University events.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform other duties as required.

LICENSES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT:

Personal computers, printers, word processing, database management and spreadsheet software.

Required Qualifications

REQUIRED:

1. Bachelor’s degree.

2. Minimum of two years of experience in an enrollment services office (i.e., bursar, financial aid, admission, registrar).

3. Demonstrated strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

4. Demonstrated proficiency in written communication skills.

5. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups/populations.

Preferred Qualifications

PREFERRED:

1. Demonstrated supervisory experience working in a student records/registrar’s office in a higher education setting.

2. Demonstrated student administration software system experience (i.e., PeopleSoft).

3. Demonstrated familiarity with student transcript request procedures and the review of transcript content and determination/calculation of GPAs.
